After graduating from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completing a surgical residency program in Miami, Dr. Dan moved to Jacksonville and maintained a successful general podiatric practice for the next 20 years.

Before attending medical school, Dr. Dan received a degree in pharmacy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Integrating his training in pharmacy and podiatric experience, He, together with chemists from a premiere organic formulation house, developed a line of all-natural topical foot care products, under the brand name, Barefoot Botánica (described in more detail on our Products page). Dr. Dan has since switched gears and now practices preventative, non-surgical podiatry—taking a more holistic and aesthetic approach to foot care at Hands, Feet & Beyond, along with his podiatric partner, Dr. B. Barefoot Botánica products form the backbone of our hand, foot and nail services and they are also available for purchase.
