"Look well to the spine for the cause of disease." - Hippocrates Dr. Short is a graduate of Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been employed as a chiropractic physician in Jacksonville, Florida since 2008. She has completed post graduate training in the Atlas Orthogonal and is board certified in the technique by Sherman Chiropractic College. Dr. Short also holds certification in the Activator Methods technique, a safe, gentle, well- researched chiropractic technique. Dr. Short has obtained fellowship in acupuncture with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.

Prior to her chiropractic training, Dr. Short earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine, Athletic Training. While at Indiana State, she served as athletic trainer for the 1999-2000 Men’s basketball team and completed an internship with the Detroit Redwings.

Dr. Short holds a Masters degree in Sports Medicine, Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. While in graduate school, she completed research that was later published in the Journal of Athletic Training in 2004.
